Pixy Liao's 'Experimental Relationship' at Florit/Florit, Palma de Mallorca
Pixy Liao’s exhibition “Always Keep an Eye on the One You Love” is now on view at Florit/Florit in Palma de Mallorca. This showcase highlights her nearly twenty-year initiative, “Experimental Relationship,” which delves into the complexities of intimacy and power through self-portraits with her partner, Moro. The photographs, taken in unique locations such as a former mobster’s residence in Chicago and a remote cabin in Beacon, include notable pieces like “Head-Hiding Haven,” “Slow Dance,” and “Doll Up.” Based in Tokyo and originally from Shanghai, Liao is a 2026 Guggenheim Fellow and has exhibited widely, including the Art Institute of Chicago.
