Pixar's Elemental Reveals Element City in New Trailer
Pixar has released the trailer for its 27th animated feature, Elemental, directed by Peter Sohn. Set in Element City, a metropolis inhabited by natural elements, the film follows Wade (water) and Ember (fire), voiced by Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie. Despite their opposing natures, the characters learn that opposites attract. Sohn drew inspiration from his own childhood as the son of Korean immigrants in the US, describing the film as a reflection of a melting pot of cultures. Elemental is scheduled for release in June 2023 and will later stream on Disney+.
