Pivô's annual auction features carnival costumes and works by ArtReview 'future greats'

Pivô, a creative space managed by artists in São Paulo, Brazil, has launched its fourth annual fundraising auction. Featured artists include Lucas Simões and Luiza Balden, both acknowledged by ArtReview as 'future greats', along with Marcelo Cidade, Alexandre da Cunha, Paloma Bosquê, and Lucia Koch. The auction offers a variety of items, including photography, prints, and sculptures. Moreover, Pivô has enlisted artists such as assume vivid astro focus, Erika Verzutti, Lenora de Barros, and Adriano Costa to design abadá, traditional tunics typically worn during carnival. These pieces will be used in the costumes for an artists' block at the upcoming São Paulo carnival. Online bidding commenced on 18 November 2015 via Paddle 8, with a live closing sale on 28 November 2015.
