Pivô Pesquisa Opens Applications for 2021 Artist Residency Program in São Paulo
Pivô Pesquisa, the artistic residency initiative by Pivô, is currently inviting applications until November 6, 2020, for its 2021 program. Since its inception in 2013, this free residency will select 24 artists across three cycles, exclusively for Brazilian residents due to Covid-19 restrictions. Candidates must be at least 25 years old and possess a minimum of three years of professional artistic experience. The residency will take place at Edifício Copan in São Paulo, with Cycle I scheduled from March 8 to June 1, 2021, Cycle II from June 14 to September 9, 2021, and Cycle III from September 20 to December 14, 2021. Each cycle will feature eight artists and include guest curators Beatriz Lemos, Catarina Duncan, and Hélio Menezes.
