Piuarch: rigenerazione urbana e nuovi cantieri tra Milano, Toscana e San Paolo

architecture-design · 2026-05-04

Piuarch, an architecture firm founded in 1996 by Francesco Fresa, Germán Fuenmayor, Gino Garbellini, and Monica Tricario, won the Premio Architetto Italiano in 2013. They’re involved in various urban regeneration projects both in Italy and internationally. One of their notable ongoing projects is a new Fendi complex in Bagno a Ripoli, near Florence. This facility will focus on leather production and will feature a museum, workshops, and a rooftop garden cafeteria. In Milan, they’re redeveloping the former Unicredit site in Piazza Cordusio, which will include green spaces and retail areas. Additionally, they’re engaged in urban farming initiatives in São Paulo and will showcase an installation during the 2018 Milan Design Week at Piazza Castello.
