Pittura Italiana Oggi: 120 Artists at Triennale Milano

Triennale Milano presents 'Pittura Italiana Oggi', a large-scale survey of contemporary Italian painting curated by Damiano Gullì. The exhibition features 120 artists born between 1960 and 2001, with works created from 2020 to 2023. The display, designed by Studio Italo Rota, uses a modular system allowing visitors to create their own narrative paths. Among the 120 participants, 65 are under 45 years old, born after 1980. The exhibition references the historical 'Pittura murale e scultura decorativa' curated by Mario Sironi at Triennale in 1933. The show runs at Triennale Milano, with works spanning from figurative to abstract, exploring the tension between human creation and natural decay.
