Pitti Uomo 103 Opens in Florence with Design and Pet Sections
The 103rd edition of Pitti Uomo opened on January 10 at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, running until January 13. The event features 789 brands and introduces new sections: a home decor area curated with Ghost Studio in the Sala delle Nazioni, and PittiPets, a section dedicated to pet accessories designed by Ilaria Marella. The Scandinavian Manifesto returns with brands from Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, including a debut collection by Raphael Godfrey. A highlight is the Martine Rose runway show on January 12 at the Loggia del Porcellino, presenting her Autumn/Winter 2023-24 collection. The exhibition "Heroes" by Esquire Italia explores the link between fashion and music. The Vintage Hub section showcases archival pieces from specialized dealers. Pitti Uomo is part of a series that continues with Pitti Bimbo (January 18-20) and Pitti Filati (January 25-27).
