Pitti Filati 98 Returns to Florence with Independent Magazines

Pitti Filati 98, the premier Italian yarn trade fair, takes place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from January 21 to 23, 2026, under the theme "Motion." The event explores transformation, gesture, and progression in textile material and narrative. For the third consecutive year, Pitti Mags—a project dedicated to independent magazines curated by Frab's Magazines—participates, featuring over 100 independent publications from fashion, design, and art. The blue kiosk installation, designed by Alessandro Gori and Alessandro Moradei, serves as a cultural device inviting slow reading and reflection. The campaign imagery is by Chris Vidal and Tuomas Laitinen. Pitti Mags also appeared at Pitti Uomo 109 (January 13–16) and will be at Testo, Pitti Immagine's publishing salon (February 27–March 1). The fair emphasizes contamination and connection between textile and editorial experimentation.
