Pitagora in Basilicata: La poetica dei numeri primi

The mathematician Piergiorgio Odifreddi curates 'La poetica dei numeri primi', a series of conferences, workshops, and mathematical performances celebrating the link between art, thought, and science in Basilicata, the ancient home of Pythagoras. The project includes five major exhibitions at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Metaponto and Palazzo Acito in Matera, featuring historical-didactic and artistic paths, plus an interactive lab for ages 4 to 90. Events began in June during the summer solstice and continue in September for the autumn equinox, running through November. Participants include Piero Angela, Nobel laureate John Coetzee, Oscar winner Nicola Piovani, math game inventor Ian Stewart, Moni Ovadia, Valeria Solarino, David Riondino, and artists Ugo Nespolo and Tobia Ravà.
