Pirogue releases debut album 'Idésia' and performs at Point Éphémère on June 5

The duo Will & Paul, known as Pirogue, will release their first album 'Idésia' and perform it live at Point Éphémère in Paris on June 5, 2026, with Cesar Precio as opening act. The album blends pop, jazz, and disco, recorded at La Frette and mixed by Stan Neff (Andrea Laszlo de Simone, Polo & Pan). Described as an 'accelerator of letting go,' it evokes comparisons to Laurent Voulzy and Air. 'Idésia' is a fictional world where the duo escapes, suspended between nostalgia and science fiction. Will, influenced by Pink Floyd, My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab, and Ride, handles guitar and vocals. Paul, of American, Cuban, and French heritage, draws from Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, and George Benson, studied at Berklee, and plays guitar and synthesizers.
