Pino Pingitore retrospective at MARCA Catanzaro spans 50 years of art and graphic design
The MARCA – Museo delle Arti di Catanzaro is showcasing a solo exhibit entitled 'L’anima e la visione 1969-2019', dedicated to artist Pino Pingitore. A native of Spezzano della Sila, Pingitore, born in 1953, has works displayed that reflect his artistic evolution over five decades. Curators Giorgio Bonomi and Luigi Polillo emphasize notable pieces, including his 1974 manifesto and the multimedia piece 'La violenza oggi… ed un’ipotesi di pace'. Other highlights are geometric paintings from 1985 and the 'Scrigni' series from 1993. The exhibit features graphic design works as well and runs until 2019.
