Pino Pascali Museum Director on 50th Anniversary Plans

In 2018, the Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali in Polignano a Mare initiated a program to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pino Pascali's passing. The festivities commenced on March 24 with the exhibition 'Dialoghi 0.3 Pino Pascali e Claudio Cintoli,' which is the third installment in a series that reevaluates Pascali's contributions. Earlier exhibitions highlighted Luigi Ghirri in 2014 and Milanese influences in 2015. The focus on Cintoli explores the themes of Arte Povera and the cultural landscape of the 1960s and 70s. In spring, visitors can observe the restoration of two Pascali pieces through 'Aperto per restauro.' A conference titled 'Pino Pascali tra memorie e prospettive. Intorno al 1968' is scheduled for May 24-25, featuring prominent speakers. Director Rosalba Brana also noted the revival of the Premio Pino Pascali, which was last presented in 2017. The foundation works in partnership with various organizations and established the Rete dei Musei dell'Adriatico.
