A documentary celebrating Pino Daniele, the Neapolitan singer-songwriter, arrives in Italian cinemas on January 4, 5, and 6, 2025, ten years after his death. Directed by Marco Spagnoli and produced by Stefano Senardi, the film follows their earlier success with 'Franco Battiato – La Voce del Padrone', which won the Nastro d'Argento 2022 for Best Documentary. 'Pino Daniele – Nero a metà' focuses on the artist's formative years and rise to stardom, offering an intimate portrait through exclusive interviews with close collaborators and friends. Senardi, a longtime friend and producer, guides the narrative, blending archival footage, music, and testimonies to explore Daniele's deep connection to Naples, which becomes a character in the film.
