architecture-design · 2026-04-28

In 2024, Pingshan Elementary School was officially transformed into a nine-year integrated institution, thanks to the efforts of CCDI Dongxiying Studio. This project spans 63,981 m² and is located along Shenzhen's Dasha River Ecological Corridor, acting as a key hub at the northern end of the corridor. Architects Zhu Xiongyi and Wang Zhaoming led a talented design team that included Mo Langheng, Li Xin, Liu Lei, and others. Hainan CITIC Urban Development and Operation Co., Ltd. managed construction, while detailed designs were crafted under Cao Jianwei. Landscape work was handled by Yue Qinghua and his team, with interiors by Feng Minqiang and Zhang Wan. The Shenzhen Nanshan Public Works Bureau commissioned the project, which strengthens the link between education and public spaces.
