PinchukArtCentre Prize 2015 Shortlist Features 16 Ukrainian Artists Under 35

The shortlist for the 2015 PinchukArtCentre Prize has been released, highlighting sixteen Ukrainian artists under 35 years old. This marks the fourth edition of the biennial award, which will showcase their works at the PinchukArtCentre from October 31, 2015, to mid-January 2016. Among the nominees are Yevgenia Belorusets, Daniil Galkin, Mykola Karabinovych, and others, including the Melnychuk-Burlaka Group and Open Group. The top winner will take home UAH 100,000 (about £3,000) and be nominated for the Future Generation Art Prize, while two special prize recipients will earn UAH 25,000 each (around £700). All winners will also enjoy a month-long residency with renowned artists, with results due in December 2015.
