Pinakotheke Updates Flavio-Shiró Monograph with New Works for 90th Birthday Exhibition

This latest version, released in July 2018, showcases the artist's recent creations from Hokkaido, Japan. It wraps up a trilogy focused on Japanese-Brazilian artists that began in the early 2000s, with previous volumes on Manabu Mabe and Tomie Ohtake, in collaboration with BTG Pactual. The updated book aligns with an exhibition celebrating Shiró's 90th birthday, which commenced on September 24 in São Paulo. Gallery director Max Perlingeiro introduces the monograph, which includes a text by critic Paulo Herkenhoff, priced at R$90 and comprising 216 pages, highlighting Shiró's artistic influences.
