Pietro Ruffo leads corporate workshop with risk-themed maps for Euler Hermes

On July 19–20, 2016, the Fondazione Ermanno Casoli of Fabriano will host E-Straordinario, a workshop at the Centro Sportivo La Borghesiana in Rome, curated by Marcello Smarrelli. The project, The Wishful Map #4, involves artist Pietro Ruffo and 30 employees from Euler Hermes, a credit insurance company of the Allianz Group based in Rome. Participants will create a collective artwork mapping contemporary uncertainty, inspired by 18th-century astronomer Joseph Nicolas De L'Isle's representations of Earth. Each color on the map corresponds to a country's stability level, reflecting the evolution of risk from vague danger to calculated probability. The workshop follows previous editions with Gruppo Angelini, Il Sole 24 Ore, and Banco di Credito Cooperativo di Bellegra Roma. The initiative, conceived by the foundation and Piero Tucci of M&D consulting, aims to visualize corporate vision and values through iconographic maps. Fondazione Casoli, inspired by Elica, promotes art as a tool for team building and corporate growth, similar to Bologna's MAST center founded by Isabella Seragnoli.
