Pietro Donzelli Retrospective in Monschau Explores Postwar Italy

A major retrospective of Pietro Donzelli, a key figure in Italian postwar photography, opens at the Fotografie-Forum der StädteRegion Aachen in Monschau. Titled "Between Times," the exhibition presents around 100 works by Donzelli, who worked as a photographer, critic, and exhibition maker. The show focuses on black-and-white photographs from the 1950s and 1960s, capturing Italy during a period of profound social and economic change. It runs from May 10 to August 2, 2026, with an opening on May 10 at 12 p.m. in the Bürgersaal. The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Renate Siebenhaar and the Estate Pietro Donzelli.
