Pierre Nahon's Autobiography Chronicles 40 Years of Art Dealing

In the autumn of 2009, Pierre Nahon, who co-founded Galerie Beaubourg, released 'L'Histoire de la galerie Beaubourg' through Éditions de la Différence. This extensive three-volume publication chronicles four decades of artistic development and market changes, emphasizing the significance of art dealers. Nahon, raised in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, became acquainted with Michel Waldberg and Jean-Jacques Lebel, immersing himself in the surrealist scene of the 1950s. Together with his wife Marianne and Patrice Trigano, he established Galerie Beaubourg in 1973, featuring artists such as Tetsumi Kudo and Alain Jacquet. The gallery moved to Vence in 1993. In 2004, Nahon sold the château, returned to Paris, and published 'L'Art content pour rien' in 2002. He also worked on 'La Comtesse de Castiglione' at Galerie Baudoin Lebon from December 11, 2009, to January 23, 2010.
