Pierre Huyghe's First Swiss Solo Exhibition Opens at Fondation Beyeler
From May 24 to September 13, 2026, Fondation Beyeler in Riehen, Switzerland, will present the inaugural major solo exhibition of French artist Pierre Huyghe. This showcase will include both new creations and significant existing works, crafting an interactive space that intertwines human, non-human, and machine components. Noteworthy pieces comprise 'Apnea' (2026), an artificial organ for breathing, 'Alchimia' (2026), resembling a worm, and the film 'Liminals' (2025). Additional works featured are 'Adversary' (2026), 'Camata' (2024), 'Timekeeper' (2026), 'Light Dust' (2026), 'Umwelt', 'Sans titre', 'Cambrian Explosion 19', 'Human Mask', and 'Idiom'. The exhibition will also showcase Max Ernst's 'The Witch', as Huyghe's art redefines conventional exhibition styles.
