Pierre Huyghe awarded 2024 Grand Prix by Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca
Pierre Huyghe has been selected for the artistic Grand Prix from the Fondation Simone et Cino Del Duca, with a €100,000 prize honoring his extensive international career. The Académie des Beaux-Arts recommended Huyghe for this recognition. An award ceremony is scheduled for 19 June at the Institut de France. Established in 1975 by Simone Del Duca to honor her husband Cino Del Duca, the foundation supports arts, letters, and sciences globally. Annually, the Grand Prix Artistique rotates among painting, sculpture, and musical composition, while two Prix de Confirmation of €25,000 each go to winners in the other disciplines. Concurrently, Huyghe's solo exhibition Liminal is showing at the Pinault's Collection Punta della Dogana in Venice until 23 November.
