Pierre Bal-Blanc curates third edition of NABA's Blackout Book exhibition

The third cohort of artists for Blackout Book, the graduation exhibition of NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), has been curated by Pierre Bal-Blanc, who works in Paris and Athens. This exhibition showcases the creations of Shaoqi Yin, Silvia Berry, Chiara Maria Suraci, Aida Portuesi, Jessie Yu, Corina Trevisan, Greta Maria Gerosa, Benedetta Porrini, Elisa Veronelli, Giulia Terminio, Soyeon Lee, and Elisa Ceneri. Their artworks delve into subjects such as the human experience, ritual, the body, memory, identity, and political boundaries, utilizing diverse forms like painting, photography, video, performance, sculpture, and mixed media. The accompanying texts were generated by the Critical Studies Department, crafted by students during the initial lockdown.
