Piero Mottola's Sonic Installations Span Beijing and Santiago

Piero Mottola, an Italian artist born in 1967 in Caserta, is currently on a worldwide tour that will last until October. He is showcasing his project 'Voices' at the Biennale Cina – Italia in Beijing's PlasticFactory and Art District, where he examines cultural identity through the medium of the human voice. This initiative involves university students from various countries, including China, Iran, Spain, Italy, South America, and Germany. Research for the project took place at institutions in Valencia, Lisbon, Tenerife, Santiago de Chile, Leipzig, Buenos Aires, and the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, where he teaches. Mottola will also present 'Emotional voices and sounds from the East' at the Great Wall of China. On November 16, he will open 'Cruces Sonoros, Mundos Posibles' at the MAC – Museo de Arte Contemporaneo in Santiago de Chile, which will be available until July 25, 2017.
