Piero Gemelli fotografa i reperti invisibili nei depositi di Villa Giulia

From May 18 to July 12, 2026, the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome will showcase 'The Rooms of Forgotten Dreams,' a unique photographic project by Piero Gemelli. This exhibition will present a fresh viewpoint on Etruscan artifacts that have been kept out of public sight. Curated by Maria Vittoria Baravelli and produced in cooperation with Bokeh Project, the event explores the fate of unseen objects in museums. Gemelli, leveraging his architectural background, will illuminate ceramics and ritual remnants. The showcase will take place in the recently renovated Ninfeo dell'Ammannati, thanks to director Luana Toniolo and her archaeological team.
