Pier Currà Architettura wraps social center in Cesena with mirrored aluminum facade
In Cesena, Italy, Pier Currà Architettura has completed Distretto Solidale, a social support center that combines welfare services, logistics, and community functions. The project includes the renovation of an existing structure and a new 300 sqm storage and logistics volume. Reflective corrugated aluminum panels wrap the exterior, mirroring trees, sky, and seasonal light changes. Recessed orange entrances punctuate the facade, providing orientation. Inside, the solidarity market occupies the ground floor, with educational and social spaces above. The client is the Municipality of Cesena.
