Piedmont Pavilion Debuts at Venice Biennale
The Piedmont Pavilion will open on May 8, following a preview event on May 7, at Combo Venezia, where it will run until July 20. This exhibition, conceived by Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, examines identity within a global context. First proposed by Vittorio Sgarbi in 2011, it features works from notable artists including Michelangelo Pistoletto and Ludovica Carbotta, presenting three new pieces. The show will also highlight contributions from the Castello di Rivoli and Sandretto Re Rebaudengo collections, alongside iconic regional artifacts like a 1957 Fiat 500 and a bottle of Barolo by Pinot Gallizio.
