On April 15, a full-day international symposium named 'Sull'utilità e il danno dell'arte per la società' will take place prior to the inauguration of the new Centro per le Arti Contemporanee in Piacenza. This center, located in the renovated Palazzo Ex-Enel, is supported by the Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano. The symposium will be held at the Fondazione's Auditorium and will feature a diverse lineup of critics, curators, artists, and cultural entrepreneurs from Italy, Europe, and the U.S. The morning session (9:30-13:00) will showcase artists such as Riccardo Benassi and Adelita Husni-Bey, while the afternoon (15:00-18:30) will focus on contemporary art spaces with contributions from Fabio Cavallucci and Chiara Parisi, aiming to develop management strategies for the center.
