festival-fair · 2026-05-01

The annual Photoville photography festival has kicked off in New York, taking place at Brooklyn Bridge Park until November 29, 2020. In response to health guidelines, organizers have replaced the usual shipping containers with various panels and metal structures throughout DUMBO. Around 30 of the 60 exhibits are displayed in different boroughs. Notable contributors include the International Center of Photography, New York Times, School of Visual Arts, Time, and National Geographic. Italian photographer Francesca Magnani showcases her work, 'People of the ferry 2020,' emphasizing the ferry's role during the pandemic. Virtual events and workshops are also accessible online.
