Photography Dominates Affordable Art Fair Milan

festival-fair · 2026-05-05

In the penultimate day of Affordable Art Fair Milan, photography stands out as the highest-quality medium among 85 exhibitors at Via Tortona. While painting and installation lead numerically, the best booths cluster in the photography area. Bleach Box Photography Gallery from Cambridge offers a strong selection with pop chromatic works by Natasha Heidler and Richard Heeps, plus urban close-ups by Heeps. Milanese galleries Lumas and Spaziofarini6 also excel, featuring Paolo Pettigiani's scenic shots, Toni D'Andrea's vegetal portraits, and Lia Stein's geometries. International participants include The Public House of Art from the Netherlands (previously at Arte Fiera Bologna) and Capital Culture Gallery from Norwich, presenting black-and-white anthropological photographs by John Kenny and Monica Denevan. Tokyo's Kitai Gallery stands apart with elegant ink art by Tsunashima Reiko and Chiba Sogen.
