PHOTOFAIRS San Francisco to Launch in January 2017

The World Photography Organisation, which is behind the Sony World Photography Awards and PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai, is launching a new photography fair in San Francisco. This inaugural event, called PHOTOFAIRS | San Francisco, is set for January 27-29, 2017, at the Festival Pavilion in Fort Mason Center. It will include three distinct sections: Main for established galleries, Platform for international galleries debuting in the US, and Connected for up-and-coming digital artists. The Connected section will feature a public program on digital art collection and preservation. Moreover, there will be an exhibition titled Insights: New Approaches to Photography Since 2000, showcasing young West Coast artists like John Chiara and Christine Elfman, along with talents from Europe and Asia.
