PhotoEspaña 2016 Opens in Madrid with Focus on European Identity
The 19th edition of PhotoEspaña, Madrid's photography festival, takes place from June 1 to August 28, 2016, with an emphasis on European cultural identity. For the first time, Castilla-La Mancha is involved, coinciding with the anniversary of Cervantes' death. The festival also reaches cities such as Bratislava, Dublin, and Paris. Featured photographers include Bernard Plossu and Louise Dahl-Wolfe, while Italian artists like Ferdinando Scianna, Gabriele Basilico, and Federico Clavarino contribute as well.
