Photo Basel Returns for Fourth Edition in June 2018
Photo Basel, the only photography fair in Basel's art week, will hold its fourth edition from June 12 to 17, 2018, at the Volkshaus. Founded in 2015 by Sven Eisenhut and Samuel Riggenbach, the fair has grown to host over 30 galleries from 14 countries. This year's curator is Daniel Blochwitz, a photography expert with 20 years of experience in the US and Europe. The fair will include a section dedicated to the Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation Photobook Award, featuring 35 photobooks selected from 1,000 submissions. Gallery names will be announced in April 2018.
