Photo Basel 2025 Celebrates 10th Anniversary with 150+ Artists and Special Exhibitions

Switzerland's sole photography-focused art fair, Photo Basel, marks its 10th anniversary from June 17-22, 2025, at Volkshaus Basel. Over 150 artists from 15 countries participate through 39 galleries, showcasing contemporary image-making. Standout works include Ellen Kooi's expansive landscapes, Sarfo Emmanuel Annor's vibrant youth portraits, Natsoumi's misty horizons, Carli Hermès's luminous architectural spaces, and Olena Zubach's intricate still life collages. Special exhibitions run alongside the main fair: Beyond Photography features experimental mixed-media works by artists like Inka & Niclas; Novum presents never-before-seen pieces; Annabelle's Choice highlights women photographers including Claudia Fuggetti; and Photo Basel Special spotlights Martin Zeller's documentation of abandoned industrial sites.
