Philipp Dorner FW26 Collection Unveiled at East London's Parasol

Philipp Dorner presented his FW26 collection at the Parasol, a hidden venue in East London. The collection features nineteen looks inspired by his southern German heritage, the Black Forest, and gothic subculture. Dorner, who faced criticism for expressing femininity within the gothic realm, uses the collection as an act of self-liberation. He reengineered fur through hand-stitched cords and used latex fringes to echo fur cords. Images of the Black Forest were printed with liquid rubber on wool and latex. Foil bonding recalls church architecture, while lace references German tablecloths. The palette includes blacks, charcoals, greys, pinks, purples, and copper. Silhouettes range from tailored to boxy. The collection emphasizes sustainability and longevity. Partners include Dr Martens and Parasol.
