Philip Guston Exhibition at Gallerie dell'Accademia Venice

Two years ago, Minister Franceschini appointed Paola Marini as one of Italy's twenty 'megadirectors.' She has notably revitalized the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice through the curation of prestigious exhibitions and the restoration of the museum's first floor. Marini shares insights about the upcoming summer exhibition featuring Philip Guston, a partnership with the Estate of Philip Guston and Hauser & Wirth, arranged by Pia Capelli. Recognized as a collateral event of the Biennale, the exhibition will present approximately fifteen loans from American museums. It will highlight Guston's transition from action painting to figuration, with designs by Studio Grisdainese and Studio Vio Fassina, showcasing both ancient-inspired and provocative militant drawings.
