Petite Miniature Textiles 2026 Biennial Exhibition Announced
The fourteenth edition of Petite Miniature Textiles, a biennial exhibition of small-scale textile works, will open at Wangaratta Art Gallery in Victoria from 27 June to 13 September 2026. Guest curator Cara Johnson, whose craft-based practice examines land use narratives, selected forty-six works by thirty-four artists and groups from across Australia. The exhibition will tour to JamFactory at Seppeltsfield, South Australia, running 5 February to 25 April 2027. Featured artist Benjamin Chevalier contributes a beaded knit weave titled Pansy (2026).
