Peter Sellars stages modern history operas in Belgium and France
Peter Sellars, renowned for his stagings of Mozart's Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro, will present new productions of a radically different genre of opera in Belgium and France this year. The works Nixon in China and The Death of Klinghoffer draw from recent historical events and were created with composer John Adams and librettist Alice Goodman.
