Peter Lindbergh retrospective opens at Paratissima Torino

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Under the leadership of new president Laura Milani, the Paratissima art fair in Turin has launched a significant exhibition dedicated to the late Peter Lindbergh (1944–2019). Entitled 'Untold Stories', this showcase features 140 pieces curated by the renowned German photographer himself, highlighting works from the early 1980s to the present. Developed in partnership with the Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf and the Peter Lindbergh Foundation in Paris, the exhibition is located at ARTiglieria and will be on display until August 13, 2021. Lindbergh, celebrated for his striking black-and-white portraits of icons like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, transformed fashion photography by focusing on authenticity. Following this, Dutch artist Anton Corbijn, a close friend of Lindbergh, will present 'MOOD' in November 2021. Additionally, a new Venetian edition was announced for the 2022 Venice Biennale in April 2022, while the 2020 fair, which was canceled, will resume on June 18, 2021.
