Pesaro's Child-Made Video Guides Unveil 20 Cultural Sites

The 'Mano nella mano a Pesaro' project, part of the free Summer MUSEum! campus for children aged 6–12, has produced 20 playful video guides to cultural sites in Pesaro, Italy. The initiative, funded by the Italian government's 'Educare in Comune' program and promoted by the municipality in collaboration with Fondazione Pescheria – Centro Arti Visive, engaged children in creating content for their peers. The videos cover landmarks such as Arnaldo Pomodoro's 'Sfera Grande', the Liberty-style Villino Ruggeri, Rocca Costanza, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, Musei Civici – Palazzo Mosca, Casa Rossini, Parco Miralfiore, Villa Caprile, and the Pesaro lighthouse. Content was developed by Michela Gaudenzi, filmed by Mattia Barbotti, and illustrated by Sabrina Gennari. The videos are available on a dedicated YouTube channel. The project aims to make cultural heritage accessible through child-friendly language and colorful animations, turning summer camp activities into lasting promotional material.
