Perrotin opens two new galleries in Paris and Dubai, reaching 12 locations

Perrotin, the mega-gallery founded by Emmanuel Perrotin, is expanding with two new spaces in Paris and Dubai, bringing its total to 12 locations across nine cities. The Paris gallery opens on April 10, 2025, at 8 Avenue Matignon, a prestigious address in the city's western district already home to other galleries, auction houses, and cultural institutions. The four-story venue will launch with a group show. This move strengthens Perrotin's presence west of the Marais, where it has operated a space at 2 bis Avenue Matignon for five years. The Dubai gallery opens on April 16, 2025, in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a 100-square-meter permanent space. According to the official statement, Perrotin aims to continue its expansion in the Middle East and consolidate long-standing ties with the Arab world, promoting its artists in the region. Both spaces were previously operated by a different company, with which Perrotin severed ties in 2023 due to ethical disagreements and legal disputes. The new openings mark a new phase in the gallery's international development. Perrotin now has spaces in Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, London, and Dubai.
