Perasma's Leros Project Returns for Third Edition

The third edition of Perasma's Leros Project, titled 'Folding The Sea Into Dresses That Dissolve Like Salt,' will take place on the island of Leros from June 29 to August 24, 2025. The exhibition features 28 participants from America, Africa, Asia, and Europe, including artists such as Giorgio de Chirico, Brian Eno, Lucio Fontana, William Kentridge, Dora Maar, Takis, and Athina Rachel Tsangari. Works are presented at two venues: the neoclassical Kandioglou Mansion (built 1886) in Agia Marina and the rationalist Primary School of Lakki (completed 1930s) in Portolago. The exhibition explores themes of coexistence, movement, and transformation, inspired by John Donne's compass metaphor and Alejandro Jodorowsky's concept of psychomagic. The Perasma Store will also feature contemporary designers and artisans in dialogue with the artworks. Past editions included artists like Goshka Macuga, Cevdet Erek, and Martin Creed.
