Pepemaniak's Lightning Tower to Debut at Burning Man 2025

The Burning Man festival returns to Nevada's Black Rock City from August 24 to September 1, 2025, under the theme "Tomorrow Today," inviting participants to imagine and enact the future collectively. Among the installations, Italian artist Pepemaniak (Federico Ceruso) will present the "Lightning Tower," a modern tribal totem made of metal and neon that evokes lightning and fire. The work serves as a symbolic meeting point and a catalyst for real relationships in an era of digital isolation, hosting live performances, audience interactions, and shared rituals. Pepemaniak, based between Italy and the United States, began his career in 2010 with stickers, lived in Miami, returned to Italy in 2016, and collaborated with fashion brand GUIDI. In 2024, Drago Publisher released his first book, "All You Can Eat," which explores counterculture and unconventional art. The artist states, "In an age dominated by digital isolation, the Lightning Tower aims to be a catalyst for real relationships and shared imagination."
