Peep-Hole closes Milan space, takes on Fondazione Furla artistic direction
Milan's non-profit art space Peep-Hole is closing its venue in Via Stilicone 10, as announced by director Bruna Roccasalva. The closure coincides with Peep-Hole's new role as artistic director for Fondazione Furla, following the foundation's decision to discontinue the Furla Prize and end its collaboration with Chiara Bertola. Peep-Hole was founded by Anna Daneri, Vincenzo De Bellis, Bruna Roccasalva, and Stefania Scarpini. De Bellis, recently appointed at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, will remain 'founding director' of Peep-Hole. Roccasalva stated that the organization will take time to evaluate its future operational model, possibly reopening a space in September through sponsorship and crowdfunding campaigns. The last exhibition at Via Stilicone featured Paolo Gioli.
