Peachey & Mosig's The Sky Has Already Fallen Opens at Messums West

Messums West has launched its first exhibition, The Sky Has Already Fallen, which is a residency-based initiative responding to a thirteenth-century barn, made possible by Messums and The Corridor Project [TCP]. This showcase highlights the collaborative efforts of Australian visual artists Peachey & Mosig, who delve into the connection between humanity and nature through various mediums, including moving image, sound, textiles, and installation. Their artwork confronts themes of ecological grief, collective mourning, and the potential for shared experiences to pave the way for alternative futures. Rooted in human ecology and field research, their site-specific projects transform sensory experiences into immersive installations. The opening event featured a discussion and guided tour led by the artists.
