exhibition · 2026-04-19

Chilean photographer Paz Errázuriz showcases her inaugural institutional solo exhibition in the UK, titled 'Dare to Look,' at MK Gallery in Milton Keynes until 5 October 2025. This exhibition comprises 171 photographs spanning five decades, highlighting marginalized groups during Augusto Pinochet's regime (1973–90). Notable series include 'Los dormidos' (1979), 'La Manzana de Adán' (1982–87), and 'El infarto del alma' (1992–94). At eighty-one, Errázuriz overcame state censorship and co-founded the Association of Independent Photographers. In the late 1960s, she studied at the Cambridge Institute of Education and was influenced by activist Dr. Alice Roughton while living in London. Her works have been displayed at Fundación MAPFRE (2015), Barbican (2018), and the Venice Biennale (2015).
