PAV in Turin expands permanent collection with three new works

institutional · 2026-05-05

The PAV (Parco Arte Vivente) in Turin has enriched its permanent collection with three additional works, bringing the total to approximately fifteen pieces, all resulting from artist residencies conducted over the last two years. These new additions reflect the center's vision, established by Piero Gilardi in 2008, which aims to encourage interactions among art, nature, biotechnologies, and ecology. Sofia Caesar from Rio de Janeiro showcases "Worker Leaves the Factory" (2017), an installation stemming from her 2016 residency that examines the historical industrial site. Sara Enrico, born in Turin in 1979, offers "The Jumpsuit Theme," a cement sculpture that delves into the cultural relevance of the jumpsuit. Andrea Magnani, born in Faenza in 1983, presents "Aneico, Abacco e Adoneo," an installation that constructs a mystical-technological garden.
