Paulinea Brami and Paul Hinstin present 'Between the Rooms' at former Fontainebleau prison

Paulinea Brami and Paul Hinstin will present 'Between the Rooms' at the former Fontainebleau prison from April 22 to May 3, 2026. The exhibition features Brami's new paintings in dialogue with Hinstin's wooden sculptures, creating a system of correspondences within the historically confined space. An opening reception is scheduled for April 22 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The venue, marked by its history of confinement, becomes a transitional point where interior spaces transform. Brami's painting 'Sentinelle' (2025), an oil on canvas measuring 130 x 160 cm, is included in the presentation. The exhibition opens passages within an architecturally closed environment, with viewing hours from Tuesday to Sunday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The project reimagines the prison as a site of artistic exchange rather than isolation.
