At 78 years old, children's entertainer Paul Chuckle is set to make his debut at the National Theatre in Jim Cartwright's production, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. He will portray Mr Boo, sharing the stage with Francesca Mills (Silent Witness) as the lead character and Jill Halfpenny (Waterloo Road) as Mari Hoff. Directed by Robert Hastie, the show will run in London from 2 December to 23 January before touring to Newcastle, Sheffield, and Salford.
