Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo expands foundation activities across US and Europe
Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo marked her Turin-based foundation's 30th anniversary with significant US expansion. The Manetti Shrem Museum of Art at UC Davis hosted the first American exhibition of her collection, featuring 30 women artists. She launched a series of co-commissions with New York's New Museum, where she serves on the International Leadership Council. Italian artist Diego Marcon created the inaugural musical film, premiering at Chicago's Renaissance Society during the New Museum's closure. In Italy, the foundation presented exhibitions for Teresa Solar Abboud, Jem Perucchini, Marwa Arsanios, and Alessandra Ferrini. Pol Taburet exhibited at the foundation's Madrid location. Both Turin and Madrid hosted branches of the annual curatorial residency program. Development continues on a third foundation location on a Venetian island. Sandretto, who also presides over Fondazione Arte CRT, will co-host this year's CIMAM conference in Turin, an organization she additionally supports as a patron.
