Patrick Tuttofuoco installs site-specific work at new Museo Premio Ermanno Casoli in Serra San Quirico

The Museo Premio Ermanno Casoli 1998-2007 opened on April 13 in Serra San Quirico, a historic hilltop town in the Marche region of Italy. Housed in the Complesso Monumentale Santa Lucia, the museum preserves artworks acquired through the Premio Ermanno Casoli, a prize established in 1998 and replaced in 2007 by the Fondazione Ermanno Casoli. At its entrance, Patrick Tuttofuoco (born 1974 in Milan, lives between Berlin and Milan) unveiled "The relay," a site-specific neon installation depicting five hands passing a baton. The work symbolizes the transition from the founder Ermanno Casoli to his children Cristina and Francesco, who continue his legacy of supporting contemporary art through the family business Elica, a leading manufacturer of designer range hoods. The installation also references the museum's own history: the prize was replaced by the foundation, which now fosters creativity and teamwork among employees through workshops with established artists, curated by Marcello Smarrelli. Tuttofuoco recently led a workshop titled "Family Feelings" for E-Straordinario Kids, involving employees' children in a playful reflection on family relationships.
